Hi Karen. My name is Jane and my daughter Meg has been a patient of 3B at PMH for the last 18 months. (Kate may have told you about us)She was diagnosed with Ovarian Germ Cell Tumour in Feb 08 and has had two courses of chemo and a few surgeries too. Currently we're 7 weeks into her third remission. I know what you're going through hun, and I will be thinking about you all as you go through this enormous journey. Our kids are so amazing (I'm sure you've seen that already) and their strength and determination is so humbling. I know that I gain a lot of strength from Meg. Indra looks to be a beautiful young man and I will be keeping him in my prayers. Maybe we can catch up at "Hotel 3B" as we have called it. It does become your second home.... Indra....stay strong, positive and determined to be a "Cancer Conqueror!" Karen...please don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to get together. You can email me at jpem.stanley@yahoo.com. Much love and healing thoughts.... Jane, Phil, Ellie & Meg XX
Hey Little Man Ask Mum to drag out the old Bali Pics and she should have one of me and Ayla!! My name is Marli and you probably dont remember me, but I definately have never forgotten you. Indra, you used to come visit me and my daughter Ayla when we were staying in Bali. We used to get "Nasi Bungkus" and your mum and I would have a few beers on the balcony while you kids would run a muck!! You decided that it would be fun to throw the empty GLASS beer bottles off the balcony.... Doesnt matter how much we tried to stop you, you somehow always found a way to dodge past me, step around Dane, get past your mum, grab an empty glass bottle and chuck it off the balcony!!! As dangerous as it was,it was pretty funny..
Heard that you havent been well buddy :-( Just want you to know that Ayla and I are thinking of you every day. Cant believe how much you have grown!!! Stay strong mate Love Marli and Ayla xxoo
Hi all... welcome to Indra's blog and a little bit of history on how the story goes... Indra was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the 22nd June 2009. It is cancerous and very aggressive. It is a non-germinomatous germ cell tumour. Little did we know that a simple trip to an eye doctor has turned Indra's world upside down. This is a place where we want everyone to share their thoughts and feelings. I know Indra would think its a great idea! .
This website has been created by Indra's family for Indra so that his family and friends can follow his journey throughout the course of his treatment. Not only does it provide information about what's going on but will be a great update for Indra when he is well enough to read and reply to you all. I hope this blog provides an avenue for you all to be involved and post messages to Indra . I can also be contacted by email if you have anything you would like to say privately. Karen Giyanto (Indra's mum)
